The Eagle's Nest

My husband and I went for our anniversary which is also Christmas Eve! The food is exquisite and I mean my taste buds were jumping!!! The staff is so sweet. We talked with them and really enjoyed their company. From the girls filling our water to Renae our server and Amiga Sanchez to Ruby the manager they all come across as genuine. The atmosphere is magnificent as you can see Indianapolis from the high top of the Hyatt, thus the name Eagles Nest. It is expensive but the food is worth it.

You definitely pay for the experience of the views like other reviews have said. The best item that we had was the seafood bisque- it was SOO good! The crab cakes were really good as well. My steak came out cold with our food but the mac n cheese was extremely hot. Steak was not anything special and neither was the mac n cheese especially for the price. Our waiter wasn't that good- forgot my boyfriend even ordered a drink and didn't check on us for 30 minutes when we finished our drinks. The person clearing our table was amazing and provided better service than the waiter, he was eager to offer to take our photos.

Place is cozy, it was great experience. ambiance is quite peaceful and the restaurant is clean. It’s my first time with this kind of revolving dining restaurant, we enjoyed the view we almost saw the entire city of Indianapolis. Food was palatable, Service was excellent our server was Anthony he did a very good job. We met their Manager Ms. Ruby she is nice and professional. Dining experience was overall satisfying. definitely we will be back.

Atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. The sky deck rotates about once every hour, allowing an entire 360 view of the city. Seafood chowder 10/10 Drinks 10/10 (Raspberry Mojito) Shrimp Bulgogi 1/10 Salmon with wild grains 2/10 Caesar Salad 5/10 The seafood chowder was so delicious!!! As were the drinks. However the main entrees were ridiculously salty. the shrimp was almost inedible due to how salty each bite was. We told the waiter about it and he took it back only to return with the same salty shrimp but sauce on the side. The grains/rice with the Salmon was also just pure salt.. but since we already returned the shrimp plate twice I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it. Thankfully they did not charge for the shrimp we returned twice. But for the price of the food here I would have expected the chef to understand or taste how salty the food or “marinade” was before it leaves the kitchen. I’m not kidding or trying to over-react about the saltiness. It dries out your mouth how salty the shrimp and the salmon rice is. In the end we replaced the dish with a Caesar salad and it was okay. Caesar dressing tasted salty too but I don’t know if that is just how the chef made everything or if our tastebuds were just so assaulted by the saltiness of the entrees
